Why East of England has no separate published price
The official UK series is a single national observation. It is priced on the Monday nearest the fifteenth of the month, for deliveries up to 1,000 litres, with VAT at 5% included. There is no regional breakdown behind it, and nobody else publishes one for Great Britain either.
Sites that show you a regional price for a GB region are showing you either a national figure with a regional label on it, or a set of quotes collected from sellers. This page does the first of those and says so, which is the only honest version of it.
The local geography, and what it does to a delivery
Flat, dispersed and agricultural. Rounds here are long but efficient, because farm and domestic drops sit on the same route and a tanker rarely runs empty.
Delivery
The agricultural book gives East Anglian depots a volume base that pure-domestic depots do not have. That tends to keep the domestic price competitive, and it is one reason oil clubs in this region negotiate well.
Ordering here
Harvest and autumn cultivation compete for the same tanker fleet in September and October. Ordering in late summer, before the agricultural gas oil rush, usually means a shorter wait as well as a calmer price.
